Trying to get a clarification on a comparison of two "same" all Titanium Tre's.
Overall weight and appearance of the blade finish.
Placement and appearance of the engraved markings.

I believe the markings are engraved bcuz under a loop you can see tiny circle tool marks as opposed to a stamping. The two look similar but #2 seems less "blackish" or as deep?
#2 Has a satin finish that has the fine straight up dwn grind lines on the surface of it's blade.
#1 looks like hand rubbed shiney and not mirror like but still satin like and under a loop looks tight grained marblelike. So #2 feels and looks less beefy. #1 feels more solid thicker and a bit heavier.

Thinking the co wanted to even lighten the knife more on later models?
Both knives have same milling details, humps bumps and rounds but #2 looks like the space between the milled lines are wider like overall there are not as many cuts or not as deep?

Both boxs look the same.
Lastly the placement of the lionsteel circle r on the presentation side is a bit higher on the grind of the knife.

My sense is they are both genuine. Has anyone seen copies? Nothing I could find on you tube.
So is this these characteristics of normal and slight differences in production units.

Are these common issues such like when we buy and sell there are two versions?
Why the heck would Lionsteel not just keep good work good?
Could my #2 be a fake, but in my opinion it would cost way to much to sculpt this beauty and would not even be a good clone candidate.

Thnks for info, James

Two known blade finishes.
Stonewash which must be pretty a pretty small size medium and a Satin more scratch prone finish.
I like the stonewash on my tre.

I do get a definite sense of weight being a bit less and an overall sense that the production process has been sped up.
