I posted a thread last week soliciting advice in helping me pick out a Barlow for my small but growing collection. I found this little baby on an unnamed large auction site at what I believe was a very reasonable price, so I snacthed it up. It is of course a Gec Tidioute #25 with inferno bone handles. The main blade came very sharp, but the secondary blade is not nearly as sharp as the main. The snap is very good on both blades and the pull is just to my taste. It does have a small gap between the scale and the liner on the underside close to where the bolster joins the scale. The gap can be seen on picture #3. All in all a pretty well made knife for around $50. I am not sure I am a fan of the inferno bone as I am normally a stag, ebony, or cocobolo guy. I promised pics last week so here they are:
Sorry for the pic quality as I only have a little point and shoot. Also now realize I didnt get a pic of the back scales.
