so its odd that i make anything other then kitchen knives and razors but i have been talked into making a few hunters adn a fighter. here is the first of the few.

steel is 52100 RC is about 60 .200 thick
the blade is 4 inch long hollow ground on a 10 inch wheel to a mirror finish
the guard and pin are SS and also mirror finished
the wood is 2 tone redwood burl (the 2 tone is for a bit of spalting
over all the knife is just under 9 inch long

all feedback is welcome on both the new mark and also the knife i will try to get better pictures but i am having trouble due to the finish on the blade

I like the knife AND the new mark, Butch. That's a stencil, correct?

NO ONE gets a better mark out of a stencil than you. That's rich and deep.

Props if so.

thanks coop it is a stencil. i am moving into a new shop so i thought it was a good time to update my mark too. o an ill sharpen it arter it gets back from leather

That is a really good looking hunter - I'd be happy to have that on my hip. Well done Lloyd!

thank you roger. I am tring to make sure i dont get stuck in a rut and forget how to make other kinds of blades

I think both the blade & mark look great! One if my favorite steels too.

I'm w Roger in that I'd be honored to carry that knife in the field for skinning game!

Fine looking Hunter. Material selection and execution top notch.
Like your mark too, elegant, yet not over stated.
