I ordered this knife from Marty after seeing it at Blade. i emailed Marty about it and we agreed on a folder. I asked him to do something different to the knife to make more special. Two weeks later, this beauty shows up and I am thoroughly impressed with his work.
The folder is VERY light and it built well with attention being payed to detail. He has done some torture test to this folder and it has endured. The blade has a lot of belly, which I like and came razor sharp. The ergo's are excellent, very smooth action, the clip is great and it's extremely easy to disengage the lock bar.
There is a very tiny bit of blade play but that was taken care of with tightening the pivot just a touch. The only other negative is, I wish he blasted the pivot screw to match the rest of the hardware. Anyway, it's an amazingly impressive folder, especially at the price he charged.
Oh, one last thing. The special touch he added ,were the mayo holes. They are beveled but the beveled part is polished. Looks great in person.
