My New Matt Lamey Bowie

I just received some pics of my new Lamey bowie.The blade is 8 1/2 inches long by 5/16ths inches thick,and is from 1075 stock.The handle is Curly Maple.I told him I wanted a Shorter Stout Bowie that was Tough,but still look Damn good.I think he done Good:cool:
 
Short and stout bowies are :cool: One day, I'd like one about that size with a horizontal clip sheath, to wear in the small of my back.
 
really really nice. What I like about the knife is that there are no distraction from the great lines.

Matt makes a very nice knife and this one is again very clean and business-like. From your description, sure sounds a tough bowie. Matt's bowies, together with Flournoy, Fisk's works, etc. were one of my original inspirations to forge and build bowies and fighters.

One question - How does it balance ? Jason.
