Hi folks

I just received my Socom Elite M/A, it's been on my most desired production folders-list for some time now and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get it quite a bit cheaper than the retail price. There are plenty of review threads with praises and criticisms so I won't waste my time making another one, suffice to say that I am very happy with the F&F, it seems to be a very sturdy, well-built knife with zero blade play. I didn't think it would be quite so large, though. Guess I need to grow bigger hands.

Anyhoo, the only gripe I have with it is that the blade is off center ever so slightly to the left. This brings me to my question for those of you who have adjusted the pivot/disassembled your socoms, what size Microtech tools are needed to do this? I would really like to make this knife perfect by my standards and get the blade completely centered(Perhaps it'll center itself with some use? I don't know.)

I figured since it seems that most of y'all like enjoy looking at some knife porn, I'd upload some pictures. Here goes!
sorry about the crappy backdrop.

I asked the same question about my whale shark the other day to Dave at the hollow grind. He told me to contact Matt from www.modelandtool.com I suggest you do the same.

By the way nice Socom elite! I am going to get the Elite or the delta in the next week or so just cant make up my mind!

This knife has been on my list from day 1. I just recently had the option to buy it, but I purchased the ZT 0301 instead. I'm not sure why, but I definitely am getting this knife next.

I have the Tan version with the grip tape inserts and CTS-204P. My lock sticks like crazy but overall the knife is a great performer. It's an impressive cutter and don't be afraid to use it. The Socom Elite really is one of the best performing knives out there. That lean edge, the wide thumb ramp, it's crazy comfortable and cuts like crazy.

Congrats.
