I have got it today. Ordered 10/7/04 from New Graham knives. Delivered 10/14/04. That was fast.

This knife is going to replace my old Police SS GIN-1 Plain.

I am glad all rumors went true. Superb blade. Very sharp from box. I have to admit the edge grid is rough. Never mind. I have Lansky on shelf.

There is no blade play at all.

It fits perfecly in my palm. The clip should have had more round edges. I could file them around a bit but the black color does not allow such tampering.
Does anybody know how the clip is blackened? I do not think it is done by some painting but maybe I am wrong.

This is my second Spyderco and I am proud of it.

 Congrats Cosco, that's one sweet looking blade!!! Man oh man if only I had some spare change!

Thats a sweet knife! I love my Mili, and it replaced my Police as an EDC. I need one like yours now.

@ senate

afaik the number stands for the Spyderco Collectors programm and the
"V" designates a variant of an existing model

greetings

This is pretty new Spyderco product. AFAIK the plain black has been around for quite short time. Even the Spyderco does not have it listed on its website catalog. So my original thought was that the number ment just some new way of marking this knife.

I did not know this ment numbered model :D

I do not participate in collectors program. This is only my second Spydie knife I ever purchased. The money were always the isue for me. I have several smaller and cheaper knives like Kershaw scallion, crkt etc. But I got an urge for big tough knife to replace my Spyderco Police which sports some blade play. Just in time when Spyderco released this plain edge as I am not fan of serrated.

The New Graham knives have these.

Cheers.
