When i got the spyderco box on christmas, it felt like it weighed nothing! So upon opening the box, i was suprised at how big it was. It's the exact same size as my timberline kelly worden large tactical knife, except thinner and lighter. It's extremely comfortable, grippy and light. And SHARP. It probably takes the best edge out of any of my knives. There was a slight burr on the tip about 1/8" long, but i took it to my sharpmaker and got it out. It even BIT ME. Oh well. Awesome knife, i can't wait to put it to work. it carries well too.

Grats on a great knife; my favorite. I bought a millie and now own 5, which is meager compared to others around here. Enjoy.

I got black/black, s30v blade.

I love my black on black millie. :D

Congrats on your millie!

My digicam/black blade must be related to your millie as it decided to take a chunk of my right index finger as well...;)

I'm afraid to beat on it! I hate when I get new knives, scratched or unscratched, i hate doing what i want to do with them lol.

Congrats on the new aquisition.

I have 3 Militarys myself. One Digi Cam numbered, one orange un-numbered and the Black on Black.

I have a crapload of knives and I would have to say that the Black Military is my most favorite to carry.

The thing sharpens easily and holds an edge really decently.

I say decently because as of lately it seems I have become a real snob about edge retention. I cut up a lot of cardboard at work and it seems that I have had to sharpen my blades everyday.

Nothing else really decent around that I can use instead, but the S30V Military seems to be able to streatch the sharpening for a couple of days.
