The mini CQC-15 has been the knife on the top of my list for quite a while now. I watched countless videos of it and looked at pictures, reviewed specs and on and on. I don't buy on impulse and there's more to just the knife that I base my purchase on, and obviously Emerson's got it all. I finally ordered one, a newer one with standoffs and got it today. I can't express enough how happy I am with it, everything about it is perfect! It's Goldilocks. I was afraid it was going to be too big. Even knowing the specs, it was a bit deceiving when watching videos and looking at pictures. I love the standoffs and the fit and finish are superb, and noticeably better than my micro commander from 2011. Gone are the rough edges on the spine jimping and elsewhere.
I bought this not knowing of the quality of improvements and would have been happy if it was the same as my micro commander. All in all, the size, ergos and quality can't be beat and it's something not only that I like, but am proud to own and show off.
Great job Mr Emerson and the guys and gals who put these together!
