Boys and girls I just had to post about these two knives Mini Cyclone and Needs Work. These are fantastic knives and are very sharp and have an excellent blade geometry read cutting and slicing ability! Great job Kershaw! And at very reasonable prices. I also have a ENRG coming the smaller one. Thanks again kershaw! Also, this is my first post here.

The Cyclones are my all-time favorite folder. Those Cyclones ROCK!...

welcome and congrats on those, i am waiting on my mini cyclone-too bad overnite shipping is as expensive as the knife!

Love the mini-Cyclone. Picked one up in titanium and ZDP-189 blade. A fantastic EDC. It goes with me often. Now I'm waiting on me mini NRG 1740(pic is of the large). This seems likes it's going to be a great little folder too!

I have the Needs Work also. It is one great knife for the price. The ergos on it is what I really like about it and the AO has a really good kick to it.

RKH, Welcome to the Forums. You have just embarked on a long and costly Journey...the burning desire to get every new Kershaw that becomes available. It is an addiction, and the "pusher man" on this site is ThomasW. Man, every time he posts up something new, we all start drooling like Pavlov's dogs. My suggestion to you would be to start saving for the Mini Cyclone Ti/ZDP...you won't find a better production knife anywhere. Period. And now that you're a Kershawholic, you might as well skip all the stepping stone knives and go ahead with the MC in Ti/ZDP. Then buy any other ZDP that you can find. And be on the lookout for the 1660ODBLK Leek with the 13C26 Sandvik steel, then...oh well, you get my drift!

And for a little trivia, Hey blackend...that picture of the ENER-G is from New Graham Knives. The knife picture you posted is the actual knife that sits in my gun safe right now!

And now a shameless plug for NGK...If you ever want another Kershaw, call or email Annie or Mary Beth...they know their stuff and will help you in any way possible. I just can't say enough about them. And Kershaw! Enjoy your time here and the never-ending addiction to Kershaw!

Thanks for the welcome Skinz0021 and SPXTrader. I have been into knives for more years than I care to think about. I have bought different brands over the years but you have to give Kershaw Knives credit for thinking outside the box and pushing the envelope. I think the edge geometry on the Mini Cyclone and Needs Works (catchy name by the way) is very good. Also, a large percent of Kershaw Knives are made in the USA! And yes I like that pharmacy and Mary Beth and Annie are very helpful. And I think the Ti/ZDP Mini Cyclone will be my next purchase. Once I start I don't know when to stop. Oh, my 1740NRG should be here today and I will let y'all know what I think.
Best Regards

Knice knife you have there SPX. I just got my 1740 in the mail, very cool! This knife deserves it's own post, don't want to rain on RKH's parade here. I've been dealing with Mike from New Graham for a few years now. A fantastic person, great to talk too! I'm shamelessly plugging his site frequently.
RKH...I'd like to hear your opion on your 1740 when you can.
:D
