My new Mini-Grip!

Wells its actually not new, its my first Benchmade, and i broke the tip off, it was a 555hg, now its a 556dp.

sweet looking mini grip i'm really liking the murdered out look makes me miss my grip :/ well all my knives actually theyre away for now

That is a great looking Mini-Griptilian. I really like the smaller size of the mini. I don't know if it is just me, but the mini feels more solid than the full size Griptilian.

What do you mean it was a 555HG and now its a 556DP? Did you buy a new one? Buy a blade? It looks new to me.

I think he means that since he broke the tip off it has gone from a clip point to sheepsfoot

No, i had a hollow ground sheepfoot, i sent it in, they replaced the blade to a bk-1 drop point with no serrations, oiled it, tuned it, put a split arrow clip on

The mini grips are so smooth. I had a 551 with a partially serrated blade i eventually gave to my brother. just got the cabelas version in d2 with black blade black handle. Love it! tried out the mini grips there, they are better than the larger grips quality wise i think!

Cool. Did you pay the $35 for a new coated blade or did they replace it free of charge?

Great photos, FireAnt!

I have dozens of knives, by many different manufacturers and makers, but my Benchmade Mini Grips and Mini RSK Mk1s see more carry than any of the others.

Today it's a 556 in M390. When I get to work tonight I'll be carrying the 556 in 154CM that's in a pouch on my uniform belt.
Great little knives!
