The mailwoman interrupted my snow shoveling this afternoon to hand me a package addressed with ragnar's exquisite calligraphy. my first two moras. they're nicer than i expected. bigger and beefier. feel good in hand. no junky feelin to the knives at all, the sheaths are another matter. real sharp out of the box, too. here are my attempts of glam photos for frugal knives.

first, the black knife shot.

nice mora still lifes. i have the 2nd knife and know that on/scene tactical makes a sheath for it. you'd be spending more on the sheath than the knife tho but that's just because mora's are cheap.

Looks like you got the 780 triflex and the 760 in orange. Congrats on the blades, more moras to follow I would assume.:D

What model is that second one? Looks like just about what I want if/when I go the mora route.

I knew I should gave gotten that orange frosts.
Nice gear, I love the copper mag and yellow sak as well.

tim, the top one is the triflex craftsmen with the differentially tempered 1095 blade of slightly thicker stock. the orange has been designated the SWAK by some, though others call the green clipper the SWAK. i'd have called it the orange craftsman. it's stainless, 12c27.

morph, i'm not gonna bother. i may sew up a nylon web sheath for the triflex but the reason i got the orange one was so everything would be bright. it's eating up the retainers inside the sheath, makin it a little smoother to draw and sheath. i wish the black one would do the same.

My new moras just came today as well....I had no idea how awesome sucha an inexpensive knife could be

Moras are great, got my first one at the age of 5. Now i have 5 or 6 of them. Unbelievable knifes for that price range.

I got a carbon and a stainless clipper in the mail today I just got a nice patina on the carbo blade by leaving wrapped in some vinegar soaked papertowels for a bit....these are sweet knives...I can't wait to buy more

Try the 510! I was almost certian when I ordered it that I wouldn't like it. Size and handle didn't look right, and the plastic looked cheap. Turns out it's one of my favorite all-time knives.

What is that metal piece at the end of the lanyard? I've been looking for something like that! Other than that, I have been looking for a good way to secure the end of my lanyards. Any other ideas?

i have tons of those metal beads, they're a dime each at rotokid's shop on sosakonline.com. i prefer them to the cheaper, more poplular plastic skulls because this is sheep country and the last thing i need them to see on my knife is a skull. also, the skulls only fit one strand of paracord. there are plenty of lanyard accessories available on his website, shipping's free, and paracord is plentiful. i've bought lots of his stuff with no problems. i don't like the twist on LED, though. i use a small caribiner to hold everything together but he's got clasps and clips for the end of your lanyard as well.
