My new Mule Teams

I thought I'd show off my new mule teams. I knew about the mule team knives for years but just wasn't that interested. I was poking around on Spyderco's website and came across the mule team. They had the maxamet available and it perked my interest. A little pricey but I bought it. Very impressed when it showed up. I was so impressed I went back and looked to see what else was available and bought the CMP20CV. Now the long look for scales and sheaths. After a week of looking I settled on some scales and sheath. Very pleased with the end result. Bottom one is carbon fiber and the top one is G 10.

Very nice Mules!

I have 4V, K390, Maxamet and RWL-34. No photos of RWL-34 because Mom commandeered it for her kitchen when I was visiting at Christmas. :p

RWL-34 and Maxamet were purchased new from Spyderco. The other two I bought second hand.

This is a bad photo, but it shows the sheaths I have. I like taco style better than pancake, but 4V came with that set. (Ignore the Dayhiker photobombing the shot.)

^^^Great minds think alike!!!^^^

I have 3 Mules (only 3, lol) and am pretty sure they will easily outlast me in my life. I have had others, but kept what I feel is the very best of the best: 4V, K390, and Maxamet.

Those are also the exact and only 3 I have.

Yes. I would have liked to have the K390. I have seen them on the secondary market. I am not willing to pay the price, though. Also, I went with the pancake style sheath because I wanted to use them as a neck knife.

My very first Mule (in 20cv) is currently on its way across the big pond.

I think you will LOVE it!!! Once you put some scales on it and get a sheath for it, you will find it is a superb fixed blade, whether it's used as an EDC, hiking buddy, camping knife, or for kitchen duty. It does everything you could ever ask of a small fixed blade exceedingly well.

^^^^Nice. I wish I could make a kydex sheath like that.

ETA: Awesome scales too!

Great minds, indeed. Good to know I chose my Mules wisely. :)
