Hi, just recently started getting into straight razor shaving and ive just received my first boker today, began to hone it and tried the hair test to see if i could catch a hair and cut it... it sure did catch the hair and it even split it in two!

Based on the design of the logo, that razor is between 80 to 91 years old and man, does it cut!

If you are thinking about getting into straight razor, i would suggest getting your first one from a popular auction site, ive got mine for under 40 dollars!
of course it was tarnished but nothing a little 1000grit emerry cant fix, what matter is the shape of the cutting edge, mine had zero nicks in it, which i find impressive for a blade this old.

wow, you got a monster deal. Generally its advised to stay away from there as most of the good stuff gets way over-valued, or what comes in as a bargain is busted up crap. On the other hand, if the hipsters are deciding grow beards, and are selling their straights, maybe the market has calmed down in the last couple years. Either way, way to go!

Congrats on getting a Boker. The vintage Boker blades enjoy a fine reputation and deservedly so. The few I have are all excellent shavers.
