My new old knife - Mora 27

Bought this from allabout knives, just got it today. Pretty happy with it, it's a great little fixed blade, maybe not as practical as the new mora's but a hell of a lot prettier! Anybody know much about the older mora's? This is 1950-60 Era.

Looks like a Broderna Jonsson. Great Knife. Laminated blade. From the Golden Age of Mora. Congrats on a great find.



Broderna Jonsson and Carl Andersson are two of my favorite classic Moras.

Here's the only blade stamp. Also, the guard is a little loose, is there anything I can do to tighten it or is that just a product of age?

Put the knife in a padded vise, point down and clamped on the blade near the guard. Carefully tap vertically (peen) on the domed end of the tang until it spreads enough to eliminate the slack. You can cover the end of the tang with tape to avoid marking it.
