I was at JRE Industries yesterday picking up a new sheath for my Cultie, when I told Spen I would like a smaller custom version of their strop to put in my pack. He paused, and then pulled out this strop, fresh from prototype. I bought it of course. It is not on their website yet, but if email them, you can order one for $10 (moderators, the only reason I put the price is that it is not on their website yet). It rolls to about 2.25" x 1.5" and has around 10" of black compound. It also has shock cord that keeps it closed, or to hang it on a branch or put your foot through when using it.

I like it ! I'll have to ask them about that to when I call Monday.

Thanks again for sharing your find with us:thumbup:

BTW...Gotta love the Cultie !!! I think many overlooked it as a GREAT Bushcraft type knife. I carry mine everyday now.

I think the Cultie may be Busse's most underrated design of late. With all the fervor over the SJ and ABA, it seems like people totally overlook the Cultie. It's actually REALLY close to a 4" SJ. A little thinner from belly to spine than either of the two previously mentioned knives, but incredibly versatile, easy to EDC, and very comfy to handle. It's a great knife.

Oh, and +1 for JRE Industries. Brian Thornton put me on to them, and their four-sided strops are fantastic.

I have one of those also, and I really like it. I just wanted something lightweight and compact to throw in my pack, and this fits the bill.
