I recently joined this forum after learning that my only pocket knife, a 20+ year old Camillus Woodcraft 881 pen knife, is kind of irreplaceable in that Camillus as I knew it is no longer in business. So I retired this knife, and decided to purchase a few new pocket knives to take it's place. These are for everyday carry. After reading and learning from this site and researching on my own a bit, I picked out some I thought I'd like. I thought you guys might like to see them, so I'll be posting some pics of them over the next couple of days.

First is my retired Camillus:

And now for the new ones... first up is probably my favorite so far, this Boker Evergreen pen knife:

I have three more, and will post them as I have time to photograph them!

^^^^^Very nice knives and welcome to this great forum. I look forward to the upcoming pictures of your other knives as well...

Böker Pen is a very nice small knife indeed, got one in bone.

Other compact single-springs you might like to consider: CASE Pen, but still only comes in Yellow D, time they offered other handle choices, CASE Eisenhower, GEC Conductor, GEC White Owl and RR have some cheap but good Mini Copperheads to consider.

Look forward to your other postings.

Regards, Will

I've seen you over in the Boker Forum- Welcome to trads.
Does that little Camillus have a clip main and a coping second blade? I think Buck still makes one just like it if so.
Congratulations on the Boker; I just got the Evergreen 2-blade stockman and I like it a lot.
Here's my little Camillus- in better light it looks like the same handle as yours.

Hi! Yes, my Camillus looks just like yours, with the blades as you described. I like that Boker Evergreen Stockman, almost got that for my dad! : )

Ok, so next up is my new Case XX Tiny Trapper.

It's got great looking, fairly well-matched handles. They are also not very bulgey. Both sides are shaped the same in terms of dimensions/bulgeyness. I think I got lucky.

Additionally, it's got a black coating on the blades, with some cool script on the main blade.

I'm a little afraid to carry this everyday as I think over time and with sharpening, I may mess up the fancy writing on the main blade. However, I believe knives are made to be used, so I'll probably use it. It sure feels nice in hand and fits in my watch pocket perfectly.

I'll have to check those out. I do have a GEC #06 Pemberton on the way. Also, I got a Case Stag pen to gift my brother-in-law, it's beautiful, but a Case pen knife in other than yellow is hard to find.

This is my new Case XX Genuine Red Deer Stag Small Stockman with decorative bolsters. The handles are fairly well matched and not too bulgey. I like it.

Welcome, it seems that the traditional bug has got you too, my friend, prepare for the down hill slide :D

Lovely knives, thanks for sharing.

You sure have a fine taste in pocket knives. I really like the two Cases that you have picked out. Very, VERY nice.
