Greetings all, my long lusted after el camino just got dropped off by Mr. Postman today. This knife is everything and more I had hoped for. Please see my GB&U thread for my rave on the experience.
Here's some specs:
Blade length: approx 4&1/4"
Overall length: approx 8&7/8"
Steel: forged 1084 with bold temperline
Guard: 416 stainless steel
Handle: Presentation grade Arizona desert ironwood with stainless corby bolts

The clip is sharpened in a chisel grind and the primary edge is flat grind to a convex edge. The handle ergonomics are fantastic... this knife feels great in the hand in multiple positions. This has been a fantastic end to a rather crappy week. Enjoy the pic.

The pic won't load except for the butt of the knife. Well, the ironwood looks outstanding. I know Terry's knives, the rest of the knife has to be great also.

Problem solved, the whole pic loaded from the GB&U link. I was right, the whole knife is nice.

Ok, dang computer problems...(ok, so I don't know how to do this stuff) I have the pic as a bitmap (or whatever) and need it to be a jpeg. I just tried to post it from home pooter but cannot. The whole knife is pictured in my GB&U thread though. Sorry for my computer ineptitude.:(

Here's the picture of that great looking knife. That is beautiful Ironwood.

Hey Mongo,

Congrats on the new knife. Next to the big bowie this is my favorite type of knife and Terry's interpretation is one of the better ones out there. And that's some gorgeous wood for sure!

Once again, I've proved to the world that I am a computer dork. But, I do know a good knife. The other side of the handle is just as beautiful. Sorry I do not have a pic of the other side.
Once again, thanks Keith for posting up the pic for me.

Its not just that Mr Primos makes a nice interpretation of that knife, its also his fit and finish and the cleanness of the execution that allow the superb wood grain and colours to really make for a standout piece. Good get, congratsw to both you and Terry. Jason.

Hey, thanks guys. :)

Mongo, I'm glad you like it. It was real pleasure working with you on the project.

Mongo! Nice score!
I got to show mine off this weekend at the NWKC show in Puyallup... Nick Wheeler, Dan Cafferty (sp?), Todd Begg, Eric Berglund and a half dozen others loved it... Fit, finish and Thuya wood wowed 'em!:D
And yours would have elicited the same! Nice addition and one heck of a guy to deal with.

Hey Mongo, when that ironwood gets a little too dark for ya, I'll take it off your hands. :)

I still haven't seen a Primos knife that I didn't like.
