I asked Jeff to make some sheaths a while back for my buddies and I and needless to say we weren't disappointed. Jeff especially went above and beyond on the 2 that he made me. I'm picky and it's not often that my expectations are met and rarely are they ever exceeded. Jeff's sheaths exceeded my expectations by a long shot. The photos don't do them justice. Jeff is a true craftsman and a man to his word. He was extremely helpful in taking the time to listen and offering suggestions on the sheath designs which is rare these days. Thank you again Jeff.

Thanks for the comments. My son laid claim to the first RMD I ever bought so I had to get him a sheath too. He likes his RMD even more now but he's not going to get it for several more years.
 
I am going to guess Jeff will have quite a few requests from this thread.

I hope so. I told him I was after the Randall knives sheath look and he started providing his options and ideas. Came out awesome. Just wish I could find a better stone for the pouch.
 
Man those look great!

What's the color combo on the RMD's? That one looks like sage/black canvas if I'm not mistaken.

Also, that's a nice touch with the retention strap opposite the cutting edge. Smart work.

Thanks lodemup. You're correct on the color combo. The 2nd one is sage w\black canvas. The sage color is different on it and not as brown. It's almost a pinkish color in comparison to the other one. Maybe SR changed the recipe a little. :D
 
Jeff is a awesome leather guy for sure ! I have 1 similar to yours for my RMD. Congrats!!
