My new RC3 and a big thankyou to Derrick at KSF

I'd posted on here before about best place to buy RAT knives from and the overwhelming response was Knives Ship Free. I emailed Derrick and got a response the next day assuring me they had the RC3 I wanted in stock. Ordered it a day or so later and got shipping information first thing the next morning!

Anyhow I ended up leaving town for a few days but as soon as I got back opened up the package and decided to prep some beef, venison, elk for jerky. Cut up about 10lbs worth with the RC3 and am really impressed. To say this thing is sharp is an understatement.

The Handles great and the plastic(Kydex?) sheath holds the knife very secure even without the velcro loop.

Anyhow I bought this to be a general purpose camp/hunting knife and it seems like its gonna be perfect for that!

If you just ordered it today, call and I guarantee they will let you change it. They're good folks at KSF.

Thanks guys, I'm really dogging this thing. Carried it all day today around town and for a quick pig hunt and really do like it. I'm not completely sold on the tec lock style clips yet but well see

Glad you like the knife. We try very hard to keep up the level of customer service.

We just had to hire someone to handle customer service and sales full time. I know he will raise the level of service another notch.

Congrats. I use my RC-3 for meat prep all the time. What sort of recipe are you using for jerky. I got a electric dehydrator for x-mas and I need a good jerky recipe.
