My new "ROMANO".

That is a very elegant looking knife, I love the curves.
I'm not familiar with Romano, can you fill me in?

Luis, thanks for the link. My Spanish is not good, but the pics look very good. Romano look like a talented young maker. I'll look for him next year at Blade.

Phil,

There was an article about him in one of the knife mags a couple years back . I'll see if I can find it for you .

Congratulations! That is one fine piece! Some really nice knives on Romano's web site, also.

Hi,

Actually is portuguese Phill, but i should had put the pics link, sorry :)

I remember seeing articles about him in the Blade Magazine and Knives Illustrated

I saw a knife he made a sub hilt fighter Lovelles style done with ATS-34 mirror finish and snake wood handles, just gorgeous

Boissu, linda sua faca, parece uma Scagel.

Hey guys, Romano is the best brazilian knifemaker for fixed bladed knives, he is for fixed blades as Dobruski, another brazilian, is for balisongs.

Unfortunately, he will probably not be attending international Blade Shows anymore, afraid of flying it seems...

Boissu, para mim parece uma Randall comemorativa, que parece uma Scagel... :)

For people here who don't know his knives, Romano's work is really outstanding. I second Borges in what he said.
