Quite an amazing piece guys, ergo with the hammer/ saber/ blade forward and edge down towards the floor is quite comfortable, the reverse grip is so freaking natural I cannot stop playing with it. I really want to stab things with this, like leave the office and stab and slash things want to. Bad Parker!

The edge is something to behold indeed. I drove about 70 miles in the course of business around the burbs, the McDonald's bag in the passenger seat is shredded/ perforated beyond recognition from doing little tip-rips and tip slices for an hour on the bag. The maxi-sized coke has a whole bunch of odd punctures with slice marks from coming back out.

The tiger stripe is nothing like I imagined, I figured it would be a three layer bead blast and as such something I would not miss if it got gunked up or ruied thru use, but instead it is like an anodized finish where the stripes are, very, very cool and well executed.

You guys really got this right. I am damned impressed.

The only down side is I wanted to get this from Vinnie and originally fixated on an AD, which he was out of at the time I decided I ened this, he refered me to Josh at TAD and quite cheerfully, but Vinnie really sold me on the merits of the Strider backups. I wish I could have gotten this from him, though I would never hesitate to work with Josh again. Vinnie, if you read this, email me and we wil discuss the next one, my AD.

Hey Parker. The little Striders are one of the best deals out there for everyday carry. I've always got one on me. Check out the DB or SLCC for something a little different from your SA. From what I remember reading here they are discontinuing the AD because it is so similar to the SA with the new grind. No matter what you get next you can't go wrong.

Parker and Mo

I have an SA too. One of my favorites! Almost always with me, unless I have the AR.

Mo, what are your thoughts on the SLCC? How do you carry it?

The SLCC is the easiest to conceal of all the Striders I have. Most of the time I wear it as a slip sheath IWB under an un-tucked shirt. I've also worn it as a neck knife, slipped in my front or back pocket, and folded up in a checkbook size wallet. I can almost always find a place to conceal it. It's defianately on my keeper list.
