Hey!

I'm new to the forums but I wanted to report on my experience with CRK. I just purchased my first Sebenza (a lefty small 21) and upon receiving it noticed that a portion of the blade near the choil was quite dull. I called up CRK and they told me to send it in to them and they'd fix it up no problem. My baby was returned to me today and I simply could not be happier. The blade is absolutely razor sharp! I am so impressed with CRK customer service and the quality of their products. I wanted to share my positive experience with you guys since I don't know any other knife nuts personally. Thank you Chris Reeve for your wonderful products - I know I'll be coming back.

I wanted to include a pic - but I don't currently have a camera :(

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on a great new knife! Chris Reeve service is excellent, as you have found out.

reminds me when I got my umnumzaan. the sharpness was very unimpressive. Im sure I would have received the same excellent service you did but instead I sent it right out to Tom Krein and it was returned to me a couple days later with a spooky edge. I thought I was the only one who received a dull Chris Reeve :p Sweet knife tho isnt it :D

Welcome and sorry that your first CRK came partially dull. That's a bit of a let down, but on the bright side that you are already basking in is their customer service is great!

Welcome to the forums, and the addiction! It's great to see another lefty here.

I'm glad that everything worked out for you.

Welcome!!! Your first Seb is a transformation in knife ownership. Reeve superior quality, design, and customer service should keep you a fan for life :)

I've never had a dull Reeve. They come with a smooth edge that isn't scary sharp, but it's still surprisingly sharp. All I've ever had to do is a touchup on my Sharpmaker to make a big difference. I did once get a small micarta Classic Seb that had a blunted tip, sent it in, it came back perfect! I might be sending in my new Nyala for the same reason. Any manufacturer/maker that uses an electric buffing wheel for finishing can have this problem.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys :D I'm hastily saving all my rubles for my next CRK purchase. As you guys said once you've been bitten it's a hard hobby to shake!
