My New SFNO vs CT

Got my new SFNO in full desert tan today. Really impressive. Now I'm in love with all 3, the NO-E, SFNO, and the SRKW CT.
The CT and the SFNO is quite similar (in overall length)with the SFNO being heavier and better balance. The question I have in mind is that on the Busse web, it states that the SFNO has a penetrator point. I compare it with the CT, it is quite different. I don't have a effective way to post pics but maybe some of the experts will post a comparison pic of the two tips.
I think the SF series is a real winner. Will wait and see about the SRKW Tac line for comparison.
Anyone makes sheath yet for the SFNO?
 
I don't think my SFNO has the penetrator tip grind, but no matter to me. What sort of handle did you get and what type of sheath are you interested in? If you want black kydex and have a magnum handle, I can help you out without having you send your blade in.
 
I have the regular SF handle as I don't have big hands. It is perfect for me. I still like the e-handle a little more.
I think Kydex will be my choice as I have a leather one from leatherman for the NO-E.
Moreover, If I were to be sent over to the M.E. I think Kydex will be more appropriate on a combat rig.
I wonder if desert camo Kydex is available yet?

I think maybe the Busse penetrator tip is of a different design. Comments?
 
I don't have any desert tri color right now, but who knows about the future. I would recommend checking with Oku for a rig in that pattern as I believe he probably has it in stock. I bet you got the penetrstor tip thing from the "anatony of a Busse" diagram. I think that was more of a deal where the knife pictured didn't necessarily have one, but it was just pointing out that it might be a feature on some of their knives. The penetrator is characterized by two grinds at the point that bevel the edge of the spine at the point thus making it penetrate easier. I would almost bet your CT has it as most of the ones I have had or seen have one. Hope that helps.
