My new sheath idea...

A question for you folks...

I am developing a pocket sheath that is an improvement over my first such mopdel. This sheath is along the lines of a "pocket saddlebag" type holster to carry several tools that one would normally carry on ones' belt but can't because of dress code requirements or whatever. The holster is carried in one of the hip pockets it consists of a pocket shaped leather pouch that has velcro loops in it to hold various items. A flap of leather folds over the whole front of the thing to look like a small saddlebag. You can carry a leatherman, small folder, and a 3p or other small flashlight and a lihgter or other small items in it to make the perfect little kit to handle whatever the day might throw at you all in one handy easily transportable package.

My reasoning behind this sheath is that none of these items are needed for rapid deployment because the main defensive blade is carried for rapid deployment and a smaller utility knife is also carried for mundane stuff in the front pockets.

Any of you guys see a need or something like this? The pouch can be modified depending on your load out.

I appreciate any input on this!

Thanks,

Chris Canis

I reviewed something similar made in the USA from Cordura by a company called New Sun. It is in the Review forum and is probably from about a week or two ago. New Sun's webpage is: http://www.newsungear.com
I think it is a good idea!
