More room in the old square showcase, but thinking about maybe getting two more to replace the old one

Wow. Great collection of 532's and a great way to show them off.

FANTASTIC:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I have two of those hanging on the wall that I use for display cases. They work well and relatively economical

They are laid loose, and I have to figure out how to keep them from moving. Any suggestions?

Super magnets attached to the reverse of the box (glue perhaps). Rectangular magnets with end-to-end polarity.

Here is a photo of the outside of my glass display case showing a strong magnet on the outside of the tempered glass and a knife on the inside. The small magnet exerts a massive force on the steel knife right thru the glass pinning the knife to the glass. The knife will move parallel to the axis of the magnets charge. So if I want a diagonal knife orientation I would place the axis of the magnet at the desired angle parallel to the length of the knife.

Photo from inside the display case:

Alternatively, you could use sticky Velcro. You would have to get stickum on the knife, however...

You might discuss your project with K&J using the weight of the knives, thickness of the intervening material and mounting the magnet so you could zero in on the appropriate magnet. I can't allow the magnet in my glass case to fail so I try to get more magnet than the job requires.

Thank you for advise, I just worry to get knives magnetised

A valid concern. A paperclip sticks to the above pictured knife.

When you want to deep six the display you could use a demagnetizer (radio shack) on the knives. Simple and inexpensive process. I used one for years, back in the day, to demagnetize the heads on my reel-to-reel tape deck. Like waving a wand and no contact to scratch the cutlery.

This is what one of mine looks like I made stands from balsa wood. It appears my case might be larger but I too got them from michael's

Playing with those super-magnets mostly I worry about is my watch.

honestlyinsane - nice collection. seems like I definitely have to buy 1-2 more till they are available in Michaels
