Soooooo... I personally have never had a huge draw to Busse knives. Not because I don't think they're good knives or anything like that, just because they're not my style. Well, I had a customer offer one in exchange for a very special knife package and I thought, "ah what the hell? I'd like to bash one around for a little while." I've always been curious to test the hell out of some INFI.

Here is the ASH1 that my customer traded me. It was good and beat up when I got it and came in a kydex rig. I decided to polish the spine all the way around, change the edge angle to about 17.5 degrees per side, and make a sheath for it. I left the coating everywhere else. I think it made a nice contrast, plus I like knives to get work and show the usage. I'm not big on pretty, brand new looking knives. Anyways, here it is.

You can bet your ass that I'm going to find out just how good INFI edges hold up. Expect a comparison review with some pictures in the not too distant future.

Damn boss she looks sweet with that polished edge all the way around and that leather sheath gives it a classy look. I'm glad your enjoying that beasty and hope you put it through all the hell it deserves.

Thanks bro. I have been using it for dinner prep since I got it. Not the best kitchen knife in the drawer, but it's still fun. I took it out and tested it on some bamboo, 2x4's and some hardwood. Pretty decent chopper, no doubt. Don't worry homes. This thing is going to get beaten to hell and back.

The steel is great. The ash 1 being some of the best, hardest, infi that I have ground. As far as quality goes. You got one of the the best examples of a Busse since 1998. In my humble opinion

Jeremy would know I have bump into him at the Busse table several times with the other hogs.

how fat is that thing? looks like its taking sharpened prybar to a whole new level!!! great find. i still got to get me one, one day.

I'm actually not sure how thick it is. I need to take a mic to it and see. Just estimating, it looks like about .300 -.320. That's pretty damn thick. Definitely a prybar.
