Well, first let me say these pics suck! But, if this is normal, I should be able to just describe it without any pics at all.

Short version: New 21; took it apart; saw that on the underside of lock side slab, the "cut" in the Ti continues well past the lock bar cut out corner.

Okay, I can't describe it, but look at the pics. The cut should go toward toward the pivot, and then at a 90 degree right angle toward the blade side. However, the cut plunges into the Ti a little bit past the 90 degree corner. Not all the way through the handle, of course, but half way through. It's like if you tried to make a 90 degree cutout with a circular saw, and went too far with your first cut....Man, I hope the pics do better then me.....

I don't remember this on my large Sebenza...

Yup, that is indeed normal. It's on the Umnumzaan as well as the Sebenza.

yep its made like that!! reminds me of all the new Beretta 92/96 owners saying their slide is cracked...its a relief cut to let dirt and grime out and keep oil and good stuff in. Same with the Sebenza

Nope, yours is defective and worthless. I'll take it off your hands for $100 and fix it myself.
