So let me start this off by saying I've never been a big fan of traditional fixed blades... most of the styles just don't speak to me. I do however like a lot of GEC's products and I stumbled across their new h20 hunter packs. When I saw the small drop-point I new I had to have it and today it arrived! 1095 steel, length is 6 5/8". Love at first sight. I always wanted a BHK maverick colt but just never pulled the trigger, now I'm glad I didn't because I now have this at a third of the price($35). I would love some ideas about finding a cheap sheath for it... Oh, here's some pics. Let me know what you think of this little guy.

L.T. Wright (formerly of Blind Horse Knives) also makes some great little fixed blades:

Here's a few more:

LT makes great knives, no doubt about that. But none of his cost $35. The point of this thread was to show the high value of this little GEC knife.

I've got to say, that's a pretty sweet little blade.... What's the handle material? Orange delrin? I don't mind delrin at all - looks great and ages well.

I'm assuming it's delrin but maybe someone who knows for sure will chime in....
It also comes in green and natural micarta. I really want to buy more since they have a clip point and wharncliffe blade as well.

Very nice, should be a great size to use, I have a Maverick Colt, like it a lot.

Oh, I see - I didn't get that at first. However, I still consider the LT's to be at least medium- if not high-value packages (knife and sheath considered). Then again, it's hard to argue with anything GEC for $35!;)
