She arrived today! Two days early. Woohoo!

She was just made a few weeks ago and now she is in my hands. I am so excited to have another DT.
One thing to note: when you order a micarta with a DT blade, it comes with the slip sheath. So, now I have an extra one. I guess I will have to buy another small. Haha...

Here she is:

Very Nice. For some reason I have never really been a ladder damascus fan. I have always preferred raindrop and some of the others like basketweave and spirograph. Missed out on the spirograph though.

I was going to get a raindrop, but my wife liked the ladder more. Hey, I have to keep her happy. :)

Beautiful knife biggerjon, now your Micarta family really is complete. This is the DT I'd choose for myself next, in a large, if/when the DT Insingo doesn't happen. Hope you enjoy it!

Yeh, sometimes you just have to make that sacrifice just to make others happy.
It doesn't get any better than that, nice CRK !!!!!

I wish... I thought it was, but it's not. Haha

I find myself needing more. Damn you CRK! :)

Yes, I think there are a LOT of knives that could count toward the full collection of micarta CRKs. Let us see:
three blade shapes (typical, Insingo, Tanto)
three additional steels (3 Patterns of DT currently, but only on the single blade shape)

So that is 6 variations, times 2 for both sizes = 12 times 2 for the serration option = 24 times ? for the Cabochon variations (no one counts these, but how cool would it be to see a run of all the known factory options?)...the numbers could get pretty substantial if you dont limit your focus.

Now if the DT insingo option comes to life, then that adds 3 more blades x 2 sizes x serrarion option x.....

Oh and dont forget they offered Micarta in the Classics too....

Very true but, wasn't his collection complete with just the 3 prior to this?

What's next biggerjon?

Love the damascus and micarta. IMO the best combo CR makes. Only thing better would be insingo . Congratulations, beautiful knife, this will be my next buy for sure.

I should show this post to my wife. I think she would hunt you down and hurt you severely. Haha... :)

Probably a large DT micarta.

Or maybe I should hold off for a little bit. It is getting expensive buying stuff for my wife to 'compensate' for her letting me get the knives.

Heard that. I'm an iPhone 6+ and some jewelry deep right now, for mine. She never whines about what I buy so, its only fair that I hook her up as much as possible! Good on you for keeping your wife well gifted, she sure looks out for ya!!
