Was going to post this in the first 2013 purchase thread .... since it was there we discussed it, but I got to thinking ..... this wasn't my "first" CRK purchase this year. So, decided to start another thread to keep that one for the firsts of the year.

As mentioned in the pics only thread, this is one of the gold ones (now need to look for one of the blues!), with the pink Zircon, Citrine, and Peridot stones inlaid. She's in near perfect shape, just a little wear at the tip of the thumb stud (which I think is due to living and being frequently removed from the slip case. Other than that .... no visible wear at all. Didn't come with a birth card or box, but the scales show that they are from 2004 (so it is most likely a 2004 production). Anyway, some additional pics:

Wow, that's beautiful! So cool that they varied the gemstones from one to another. Mine doesn't have a Peridot, but does have an Amethyst.

I'm pretty sure I've only seen those in Blue. I think the Gold looks much better myself.

Great pics, and great looking knife:thumbup:

Looks niiiiice....your pic/set up is a MUST for collectors. The pics are outstanding!

Thanks everyone. This one has already been elevated to quite possibly taking a position within my top 3 favorite small Sebenzas. My others may feel a little saddened by this, but can't be helped! Do want to take it apart to re-lube it and inspect the insides ..... but want to wait until I find a gold lanyard pin/lanyard to add to it.

I'd like to see that with heat colored screws, just out of curiosity. May end up being too much gold though.

Okay ..... lanyard pin arrived today. Took off the stock black paracord lanyard replaced it with a yellow one and bead. Not sure whether or not I'll leave it on or just keep the laynard pin in there and go lanyard-less. That's the nice thing about the small pin, it stays in with no modifications. While everything was apart, cleaned everything off really well and re-lubed the pivot area. Silky smooth now .... not that it wasn't smooth before ..... but you can really tell the difference. The knife probably had the original lube from the factory ..... from 2004! Anyway, since I had the thing out and the lanyard on, took a few more pics. I wanted to adjust the lighting a bit to give a better depiction of the anodizing. Some of the original pics I took had most of the lighting coming from the front and sides .... giving the anodizing more of a yellow hue than gold. These are more representative of how the light reflects the gold color under most viewing angles in ambient lighting conditions. Regardless, the honeymoon is still in full swing!!

Just beautiful! BTW, mine's now at the mothership for gold double lugs and some spa treatment. Once it gets back I'd love to get both of ours together for some glamour pics.
