I just picked these two up today and am very happy with them so far. Both at scary sharp out of the box, and the Pacific is basically what I always thought that the Endura should have been. Sorry that the pic is not better.

Thanks for making these Sal!

That Pacific Salt looks to be a just right blade length. I could not tell, but is the handle the same material as the 3"? (FRN with Rivets)

RG,

Congrats on the new Spydies!! I'm lovin' the Pacific but really need a good dive vacation to fully test her out.

Gull Wing

The handle on the Pacific is not the same as the one on the Salt. As Revolvergeek says the Pacific is what I have always thought the Endura should be.....

GullWing,

The handle consstruction is the same; FRN scales and rivets. It feels a bit more solid than the Salt. I really like it.

Java,

I think that you will be quite pleased with the Pacific when you get it out into the water. I took my Salt down to Panama Sity beach and wore it in and out of the Gulf for 3 days straight, never even bothered to rinse it with fresh water (except for jumping into the condo pool with it one time) and there is not a spot on it. I wish that I could say the same for my S&W 642 Airweight :(

Revolvergeek,

Yeah....Sal had the Salt at the Spirit of Steel last year. Said it came fresh from a dive trip to the Carribean and he hadn't rinsed it either - to top it off, it still had the Rockwell test holes in it. All-in-all a very impressive knife. The Salt is already in the dive repair kit and the Pacific has been secured to the BC. We're ready to suck down a sixer of of EAN or just plain compressed air tanks!!!!
