Just got a spyderco brad southard in the mail today and it is a gorgeous knife if i say so myself. It is a huge step up in my collection and cant wait to see how well it performs. Anyone else have one? What do you think about it?

Thanks,
Tom

Congrats! Great knife you have there. A buddy has one and the cts 204p holds an edge a long time.

Tom, it is a great flipper, very smooth (gave mine a shot of Breakfree CLP) and very well made.

It is a big strong everyday EDC, IMHO.

Currently I'm carrying a Gayle Bradley spydie that I recently bought. Not a flipper, but similar size and quality to my Brad Southard.

Very nice looking knife. Don't have that model but I do have a lot of Spyderco's. That might be something I have to look into getting.

You really should. Very smith out of the box and the g10 is super grippy. The only thing I don't like is the gimping on the top of the blade. IMO it is just for looks

One of the best flippers. A bit small but very flippy and the steel is impressive .
Have fun learning how to sharpen and congrats on the upgrade.
