Well, okay technically it's Fallkniven TK4, but this thing is seriously sharp enough for surgery. UPS showed up right as I was headed back to work, so I grabbed a pic on my phone.

It was kind of spendy for what it is, but I was really interested in the 3G steel and have wanted one for a long time. man is it sharp, I am making hair thin paper curls with it. I just hope it's not too hard to sharpen.

Nice score there! I have one myself, and after i got it, i have difficulty justifying getting another folder. As for sharpening it, i suggest you go slow, use diamond or ceramic stones, and use very little pressure.
I`ve actually made a kydex thingy for it, that allows me to carry it around my neck. The knife snaps into place, and just with a tug, it`s out.

I like my TK3 a lot :D

With regards to maintaining the edge, it's always easier to keep a sharp knife sharp than it is to sharpen a dull one

Enjoy using it.

Kind regards
Mick

That looks a lot like their U2. I'm curious as to why you chose the TK4. The specs are pretty close, but the price is not. What's the difference?

I was originally planning on getting a U2 and I liked it's price better. But I wanted the slightly larger handle that the TK4 has plus it uses VG2 for the outside laminate. Maybe not worth the added $ but I am happy with it.

I'm a real convert to the U2. Simply outstanding knife, but the the TK4 has caught my attention, too. Thanks for the pic!
