My new Sweetheart

Her name is Penelope and she is a Quaker Parrot. Her colors are green and blue, not like the picture.

I really like parrots. Few realize just how smart they are. They know what they are saying most of the time. My African Grey died in the fire. I will have another. Jim

That's cool. A friend of mine had some cockatiels (sp?) that were fun as could be. You could whistle a tune and they would whistle it back to you. One he had would "sneeze" if you told him to. They were pretty hilarious because everytime we went over for a cookout we would try and teach them to cuss. HEHE I got yelled at for that one. :thumbup: You gotta watch those birds. They are smart enough to play mind games with the dogs. That in itself is hilarious as well.

BTW: The habs still have a good number of peppers on the plants, but I don't think that they will ripen before they spoil. I think that I'll just pull them all this weekend and dehydrate them and send a bag of greenies with the dehydrated orange ones.

I love parrots as well. But if her tongue has been clipped she can learned to speak. But I am kinda worried if she will speak your kind of language, since you do not speak proper English your self.

And my next concern would be if you feed her your hot sauce she will never speak anything. :yawn:
