This is just by holding it and not using it is an extremely solid knife the weight is a good weight and the whole knife is just solid knife. I am going to break down what I like about the knife and what I do not which is one thing and that is the sheath, while it is the best kydex sheath that I have come across and holds the knife like the hulk holds a boulder but it is how the knife attaches to the belt a bit unorthadox is the para cord and the cord lock and this seems to hold the knife and sheath to the belt rather well although I have no experience with the cord and lock system I like it better than the MOLLE locks on the belt that doesnt really work for me but for a MOLLE vest I am guessing that would be the way to go. The cord and lock system is a bit unusual but I like it so far. It is a flat ground 1095 blade with an awesome tan blade coating so grand slam there and it is full tang with really nice canvas (I think) micarta and the ergos are the best of any fixed blade I own and that is five not including the RAT. I am going to have to carry the blade some more and with the weather getting colder here in Texas that will a possibility but already I know that this is the blade that I am going to bring into the great out of doors. The knife carries very nicely and after a few passes on the Sharpmaker it is shaving sharp and the blade shape is a great drop point. This will not be my last RAT knife and the Izula is next in Tan I think. There not much that I can tell you about the knife that those of us that own one of these fine examples already know so I will say it, the knife is AWESOME!!
