My new-to-me HI 18" AK

First I bought a horn-handled BAS for myself. I showed my new purchase to my wife, who immediately asked, "Can I use this for gathering firewood when we go camping?"

Yes. She's a keeper.

But it kinda meant the knife became hers. I found a (slightly) used AK here on the forum. Talk about a difference! It was a Croc Dundee moment for sure.

So, Saturday, I took the AK out to the woods for the first time, looking for fatwood stumps. I chopped down dead tree that was 12' tall, and 16" wide.

Except for slight discoloration, the AK looks the same! The edge seems sharper when cutting paper than it did when I got it!

Its not our fault you got too close and got infected with HIKV.....But youre welcome. :D
Your only real problem now is that you have infected you GF is that you have to double up on your khuk purchase. I dont see it as a problem, unless you have the habit of making her very angry, In that case i suggest you buy a suit of armor and never let her see an AK so you dont get opened up like a can of sardines. :eek::rolleyes:
 
The suit of armor wont help much against a kukri. His only possible course is to double up those kukri purchases. Either that or sleep with one eye open.
