My new to me Recon Tanto

Just thought I'd drop by and show off my new Tanto. I know CS isn't too popular around here, but I always wanted on of there tantos ever since seeing them in the 80's. I'm not interested in the new ones, that's why I snatched up this carbon v when I spotted it on Craigslist. Now I'll need to get a nice Kydex sheath made for it.

I gave one of those to my Son some years back. He still has it, and it is attached to his BOB. I always thought it was a great knife. Very sharp, very sturdy.

I think they make good products and I ignore the things that people say about the company's owner.

I find it impressive that NO other knife company produces any information on the strength, cutting or chopping ability of their knives. IMO that is a big plus in CS's favor.

I have 4 or 5 CS knives. Noteworthy among them are the GI Tanto, SRK and Kobun tanto:

I have one of these. I was not a fan of the flexible rubber guard so into the depths of my knife drawer it went.

I have to admit I've always wanted one of these because of it's appearance in CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK, heh.
