I received a surprise package in the mail today from glennbad. When I opened it, I found this inside. This knife is a reworked Camillus TL-29, what I always called an electricians knife. He had cleaned it up, reground the screwdriver blade into a sheepsfoot, and rehandled it in jigged amber stag. Glenn made the bolsters himself, he has really got a knack for this sort of thing! All I can say, is thank you, it will be a treasured companion.

That is an awesome knife, I have a very beat up one on the way to me (for not a lot of money) saw Glenns all fixed up and thought I'd get one to, wishing I hadn't now, havign seen his re-worked ones I'm never going to be satisfied, ho hum,

congrats jon, bravo Glenn :D

I have an original TL-29 in very good shape with the black plastic handles. When I placed them side by side I could not believe they were originally the same knife!

Beautiful knife but now I'm really dying to open my Christmas gift. I believe it is from the same person:D

The only problem I`m having with this knife is putting it down! I keep pulling it out and just staring at it, it`s so darn nice.

Hmmm....you may just be on to something there.

That is incredible. I've always loved the TL-29s, my dad is an electrician and I think that is the only knife he has ever owned.
He never owned one that looked like that though.

When I was a mechanic in the Marine Corps they gave us TL-29s & the all stainless scout type knives, sadly I don't have either anymore.
That is some very nice work on the old TL.
Just adding the scales & bolsters would have been cool, but regrinding the screwdriver into a sheepsfoot is just plain awesome!Love the bullet shaped butt too.
Cudos to Glenn & grats to you John.
