I am not really an Ulster collector, but this one was too nice to pass on. It is a 4 1/2'' lock back with great looking bone handles. Now that I think about it I may start collecting Ulsters. Any comments are very welcome. - Dan

Great find Rivit! Looks to have been used VERY little, what handles!

Thats a beauty... Very nice looking bone. Is that an unusual shield, or was that a common style for those knives?

Great scales and blade. Nice find!

I really like the knife overall, bone scales included, like all the others here, but I must concur with dpzer, the blade geometry is just outstanding!. I would not have been able to pass her up either. Great score..

Are you going to use her at all by any chance?

I like that one. I have a number of Ulster knives, they did a decent job making quality knives.

Many of the older Ulsters seem to be high quality knives. I've collected a few, and I marvel at how well they stand up to use. That's a nice one. Can you show us a pickture that includes the back (lock)??

I like the jigging.I have a Dwight Devine Ulster scout with a broken blade.I bought the knife anyways.I'm on the lookout for more.

Thanks for the comments guys. Sunnyd, I really don't plan to use this one. Here are a couple more shots, but it is hard for me to get good ones using just my scanner. - Dan
