G'day

Just received my new to me but used 21
I must admit having never ever seen a CRK knife of any kind in the flesh before , I was a little surprised to see just how small a small 21 really is in real life .
This knife will get used , and used hard . I'm looking forward to posting up some pictures of it in action here " Down Under " .

I'm in the same boat with a "new / pre-owned" small micarta 21. But it's probably my 15th CRK instead of my first. Came yesterday courtesy of hkingdom here on BF.

They are small, aren't they? But that's why I wanted it. I carry a FB for most daily use. Some places, though, I'm better off pulling out a small folding pocket knife like a small Sebenza than pulling out my Essential. The Sebenza is perfect for that. Quite capable of doing real work and still not setting off anyone's alarm.

Well done, that's a definite keeper. Use it and use it hard, that's what they are made for. Enjoy it in good health.

Congrats and welcome to the family (Addiction)

Nice looking Micarta.

Such a great knife and perfect size for EDC. Beautiful pictures and look forward to the hard use pictures.

As others have said, enjoy your small micarta 21. I have a large of the same knife. It's a Great knife. Enjoy.

Now you'll have to add a large….. sometimes bigger is better...

Thanks guys.
I can already see that I will end up with a Large as well , but that will be awhile away . I'll give this Small a real trial period and see what it can do .
I will admit if I'd known how small it was going to be I'd have bought the Large first . It does however sit very comfortably in my hand for such a small knife . I'm glad I got the Micarta inserts , it would feel a lot different without them I think .
Also can anyone give me link to how to attach the lanyard , there is one in the box with the paperwork and stuff , but how is it meant to be attached ?

Ken

It attaches to the pin that's in the bottom of the handle. It's silver on yours. If you turn it you will see a hole in the middle of it. It ties onto that. Take apart the knife and the pin comes out. I think there's something in the stickies about tying those and another on assembly and disassembly.

Since the pin is in your knife I assume the lanyard isn't tied? Or is there a pin attached?

Thanks guys...

Chris Reeve's website also has instructions for tying the lanyards.

Nice, that is one of my favorite.
I have a New to me Used Lrg 21.
If you like the small . The large is that much better IMO.
Enjoy!

Great score, love the micarta here's a comparison between the large and small. And why the beauty you have is just the beginning of it all

Well Sebastian ( it got named today by my wife ) survived his first day of work around the house , helping me fix some widow fasteners and a heap of other stuff .

So I thought I'd buy him a drink after work to celebrate our new partnership .

You guys are killing me. Just when I think I'm good, you go showing me that nice small micarta Sebenza. That would be perfect for work.

And then, a picture of that small micarta Insingo next to the large. Looks very nice as well. And makes me realize that now I need both of those to add to my collection.

You guys are going to break me! Because I've been eyeballing a CF slab Sebenza, and think a small CF Insingo is a must-have.

Do I need three more? No.....

YES!!!!!!!
