I bought a Wakizashi from the same chap i got my "Cheap yet well made" Katana from on Ebay... the wakizashi is even better. It is also T10 High Carbon (i like the greyish quality to this steel, it's also very strong, the Eastern equivalent to 1095) and it has been very well differentially heat treated with a pretty Hamon line. It's also got a nice Black Iron Musashi style Tsuba and a cool Battle Wrapped Ito. I took in the garden and did some basic light cutting with it on a few water bottles and cartons (it's always good fun, but please forgive my amateur technique). It is very light and quick, paper cut sharp... I'm very impressed. As a repeat customer he also gave me a discount so i got it for $130 :D
