I noticed that alot of people are asking about watches and I though you'd like to see my new Bill Yao custom Seiko Automatic Diver. I got it with the MoD Date Dial and Sword Hands. I just added the Kevlar band and I will be recieving within the next week the SS deployment clasp. Hands down this is the best looking watch I've ever owned. It definitely has gotten peoples attention. Three older gentleman commented on it today, I even gave one of them Bill's website. Great watch, great price, and great looking.

Very nice looking watch.

Seiko is one of the few companies who can make a true diver that looks nothing like a Rolex Sub. Bill Yao's custom ones are really one of the best deals in the watch market today.

Great looking watch.

You have no idea how I struggled with my decision. One of Bill's type I dials or the MOD dial, such as you got. I opted for the type I, but my opinion on which looks better changes from minute to minute.

I'll post a pic of Bill's type I for comparison when I get it. The wait is killing me.

Very nice lookin' watch, Ken! Be careful you don't scratch that beauty on all the knives you'll be sampling at Blade! I own 2 relatively cheap watches - an old Hamilton with a broken band & an old Dufonte? with a broken stem. Someone at work must have realized I didn't have a 'working' watch because I just past my 20 year mark with the same company (new owners) & they gave me a nice Seiko watch (with my initials & '20 years' on the band). For you Seiko experts: just wondering if the price tag on the box is really inflated - SLL086 Cal.8F32 - $325??

Yikes! That's the one, Ken! You think maybe I should have said more than "Gee! A watch for 20 years hard labor! Thanks!" I think the 2nd 20 years is going to be tougher!;)

Those Seiko divers are nice looking watches and Seiko's reputation is solid. I might have to pick one up as a companion for my Omega SMP someday.

Ken,
Your customised Seiko is a really nice watch!
I'm surprised that more manufacturers don't move the crown away from the 3 o'clock position. I wear a Sinn EZM3 that has the crown at 9 o'clock. This works really well. I find it very comfortable.
