Hallo all
smile.gif

I have just finished my first web page. It took me about 2 days (3 hours each day) to do it using NetFusion Software (BTW great SW for beginners).

Please look at my page and tell me what you think. Be critical, if you find some mistakes, typos, bad spelling, grammar... etc. let me know.

Thank you.

I like your site -- definitely a good first-time effort at web development. Just wondering, why no fixed blades? I collect fixed-blade daggers & boot knives and saw some there that might be of interest. I've been looking for up-and-coming knife makers/companies from developing markets like eastern Europe, China and other areas.

Well,

Fixed blades are more expensive and also the shipping is much higher. If I wanted to insure the package for more than 70.00 USD I would have to go to customs with it. That I want to avoid.

Also right now there are no stag knives available so I would not be able to get them anyway. But it may change in a future

How does the auto lock?

It's got a little key, and you put it in the hole and turn it. When you want to close the knife, you put the key back in and turn it the other way.

We're trying to get David to include a keyring with the autos to make it more convenient to carry the little key around.

Well,

I am not sure whether you talk about the same knife?

Mikov autos lock with a little pin (rectangle shape) which holds the knife in closed position too. If you take a look at the kit picture, you will see the rectangle on one of the liners and the hole in the blade. When closed the pin is inserted in the blade.

When opening you flip the lever forward, lift the spring with the pin attached to it - it pulls the pin out of the blade and the spring kicks the blade open. When open, the little pin goes to the other cut out in the blade. It is very simple but secure.
