I decided to make myself a new woods knife, for two reasons. I liked my old Bushcrafter model, but wanted to make some changes in the handle shape. Also, I have started offering 154CM and CPM S30V steels, and wanted one for myself. Here is the new version of my old Bushcrafter model, the Woodscraft. This one is made from 154CM stainless, and features teak handles, with both red and black liners, and hollow brass pins.

Specs:

9 1/4" overall
4 1/2" blade
1/8" thick

Yup - I'd say that looks like a darn verstile, all-around woods knife. Good overall size, plenty of blade, stout spine, a slight choil (something I really like on my knives). But it's that top view of the handle that seals the deal for me - thicker in the back, tapered toward the front, with just enough palm swell but not too much. That looks like a very comfortable knife for sustained use.

And the teak with red and black liners sure is a sharp combo. Well done, sir.

That looks like a useful and comfy blade, simple and elegant, no dust on that thing. Well done, I thoroughly enjoy that iteration.

That looks like a great all-around blade. I can see it doing a lot of things really well. I'd love to have one of those in my camp.

good looking knife. I like the handle a lot. Should do everything a woodsman needs doing.

A nice design and, as I have come to expect, near flawless execution. It appears to be a very versatile design for the purpose. Thanks for showing it to us.

Really like that design a lot. Simple and straightforward is always my favorite!

Beautiful knife. Something to be proud of and to use for a life time.

Looks great! It looks like it would be comfortable to use for long periods and fun to use.

Thanks for all the comments. I`ve been using it a lot, and have now added this model to my website.
