I saw the Urban Backup John had made a little while back and feel in love with it. I decided it was time to add a new work knife into my bag, and here it is. Black micarta with black and grey liners. :)

Special thanks to Christof of Koyote knives for helping me out with some of his leftover liner material, spared me from buying two full sheets to get these colors for this knife's liners.

I am thrilled with this knife. It looks great, feels excellent in the hand, and is compact. Pretty much the same size an my Izula, which this one will now be replacing in my work bag/belt.

Thanks again John, outstanding job!

Hi C Bryant -

Cool!

That has a workaday look to it.

Kudos to Christof for the liner material, and a tip of the hat to Stomper for another beauty with the K stamp!

Thanks for the photos.

best regards -

Glad it arrived safely, and thanks to Koyote for sending me tghe liner pieces. I really did not want to order 1 sheet and pay $8 shipping!

man.. that is a cool looking knife... nice work John.. i really like this one..

Love the shape of the point on that one. Looks like it could take some abuse.

I`ll be ordering materials next week, so I can order some then. I just did not want to order it special for $2 then pay $8 for shipping!

I was sooo close do ordering some and having it sent to you too! I owe Christof one.

Very nice. What do you do for work?

I'm a Stage Technician, but we have a very wide scope of work at my job so we end up doing just about everything under the sun. I am an I.A.T.S.E member too, stagehand union.

That's cool. I definitely want to do the black micarta with grey and black liner combo on my knife. Very classy combo.
