I've been waiting for the Danish Oil on the handles to dry before posting, and here it is !!
This is my Villager Fit and Finish YCS by Tirtha Kami and it's a beauty.
I asked Auntie if it was possible to have it handled in maple and she put quite an effort into doing just that. Thank you Auntie
.
The kukri and the two utility blades have some burrs on the edges (removed after 5 minutes sanding), but apart from that, everything is tip-top.
I was REALLY surprised to get a beautiful red scabbard with this. Lovely job by the Sarkis
The YCS is such a stunning blade, I can't think of any other superlatives to describe it !!
Thanks so much Auntie and Tirtha Kami. I'm a very happy camper.

At the beginning of the year I wrote out a list of what I considered to be the four most iconic H.I. blades. I now have them all.
from left to right: YCS, M43, Foxy Folly, Bonecutter.....Time to start working on next year's list !!!
