Wanted to share the good news....

I've reached another milestone in my quest for custom frame locks. :D

This is one of my grail knives.

Black G10 bolsters. Silver twill G10 slabs.
Specs from makes site.

ZDP-189, laminated with ATS-34
Blade length 3.5" from tip to handle
Closed length 5 1/4"
Opened length 8 3/4"

Pictures are from the maker.

He is sending it tomorrow. Till then I will just stare at these pics....:D

Now the question....to use? or to safe queen?????........

Just kidding. This knife is to nice to leave in a safe :D

Thanks Yun!

That is a self defense knife correct....
Amazing detail though....
That steel must be amazing...
What is the blade thickness on that thing?

Self defense? I suppose if it comes to that.

To me knives are tools...and this is one awesome looking tool! :D

4mm is the thickness. .157 of an inch

Which is a hair thicker than 1/8th....I think....
.

The attention to detail on the scales is amazing. Really gorgeous piece of work. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

I would say more than a hair thicker than an 1/8.... 1/8 = .125.... So that is one tough blade....

Self defense? Please. That's a knife and EVERYONE knows that knives are for stabbing your way through as many car doors as possible. I expect pictures of slaughtered car doors pronto.

Great score Paul:thumbup:. Yun is a master at his craft.

Yuna knives look awesome. One of his knives is on my want-list

Great choice of materials,Yun's knives are fantastic. His Zombie Slayer screamed at me till i bought one,now the problem is which one to get next. That hard 3 is mighty tempting.
