My dailly carry has always been larger folders..Camping,hunting or fishing would be a fixed blade...Now I'm getting into the smaller folders and have recently aquired a small barlow and a Case double blade jack-knife...I've been researching stockmans and will get a couple of those in the future....

The large Harbor Freight knife is just a beater I keep in the truck....I just pulled it out for the picture and the S&W SP-OPS assisted folder has a new belt clip installed...Thats my dailly carry along with a barlow...

I'm also thinking about picking up a good neck knife...Maybe an Uzula..

You and I have similar taste in knives, a little of everything. :)

I don't see those CRKT Grey Ghost knives online much. I have one too and the action is very smooth, maybe the highest quality Columbia River I've used.

Bottom center with the bead chain lanyard, is that a Gerber Buddy System, or something else? It's larger than I thought the Buddy System was, but it sure looks like a Blackie Collins Thumbolt sheath.

You are off to a nice start.

May I recommend trying a Benchmade (anything with an Axis lock) and a Spyderco of your choice?

You have a nice variety, but I see nothing with the axis lock and nothing with a true round hole opener. Once you have tried these, you will be well on your way to bankruptcy;)

Nice collection. Out that my carry would defiantly be the OD-1.

Ps. It's izula. If it's the Ontario neck knife you're talking about

Now you need a good sharpening system for all that shiny bling...jussayin...Nice collection and Unit is right, your on your way to more blades and eating more ramen.

Thanks for the feedback guys!...To answer some questions and add a little...Bob,the one in the center is my only neck knife..Its just one I found at a flea market for 10 bucks and wore it kayaking for three years...I'm ready for a good one now...

I have a Lansky sharpening system with the diamond stones...Over the years I bought a couple extra stones including one for serarated edge blades....Also have 2 large double-sided wet stones..

I will be adding a good neckker,a stockman, and will be checking out Benchmade,Spyderco,Kukri and a round hole opener...

It seems like I can always use another good knife...Thats why I'm here to get my fix,lol...

Interesting collection!

  • Is that a Sharp lockback in the top row? My grandpa used to have one like that. It is such an exaggerated shape, I love it.
  • It seems to be a Bear Gryllis knife on the lower right. Do you like it?
  • Buck 110 in the top row? Classic. I'm jealous of that one too, even if it is too heavy and big for me to carry often.
  • A couple of Leathermen; good call.
  • I miss my Rapala fillet knife. I don't know what the @#$%%^ happened to it.
  • Love the Ka-Bar; I'm jealous of that one too. I need to get one sometime. I just LOVE knives with a story behind them.
  • Nice melon knife. I just got one the other day, but haven't used it yet. I might try it on a pineapple once I correct the factory edge. They're kind of goofy looking, so one doesn't think: "Dangerous!" when one looks at it, like we would if it were a huge dagger or switchblade.
  • Folding utility knife: Not glamorous, but absolutely a must-have knife in any well-rounded collection, IMO
  • I'd give away some of the cheaper tactical folders, to make room for new stuff.
  • How about adding some more traditional slip-joints?

Sweet collection ya got there! Some solid contenders. The only shakey one it that fixie on the top row, I do not know what is is just looks a little Ramb-ish. ;) Just kiddin with ya!
Go for the Izula next, you will not be sorry. You will probably end up working you way through the ESEE line soon enough!
