Got this bad boy in the mail today. Fir years this has been a grail knife for me and now that I have it, I couldn't be happier. The price was good and it came BNIB. Thanks for looking.

This was my first time handling the Starmate and for someone who edc's a military I am very impressed. I will use this one a little, but I will definitely edc the new version once it becomes available.
 
Yes, that is a great knife. I wish I had one of those myself. Unfortunately they are very few and far between. One of these days I am going to track down a Bob T custom. I'm looking forward to the new Starmate myself, I'd love ZDP though. ;)

Looking at the other page on the new Starmate, I have heard talk of a sprint run and I am looking forward to see if it happens and what material they will use.
 
Still waiting for a release date. Ugh. Looks like you found a classic.

I'd be content with the VG10 version, ZDP will be a treat if it happens.
